YOUR BLAST FAX MESSAGE

TO: President George W. Bush
The Leadership of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives:

RE: Revoke Ex-President Carter's Passport. Cut-Off His Funding!
Ex-President Jimmy Carter has gone too far. He met with
Mahmoud Zahar, he hugged and kissed Nasser Shaer, an
unscrupulous apostle of slaughter, he laid a wreath on
Yasser Arafat's grave, calling the late terrorist "a
peace fighter" and "a dear friend." But that wasn't
enough. Carter's most outrageous act was his meeting
with Hamas's exiled leader, Khaled Meshal, whom our
government has officially designated "a terrorist"
responsible for the deaths of at least 26 Americans.
Representative Sue Myrick has asked Secretary of State
Condoleezza Rice to pull Carter's passport and
Representative Joe Knollenberg has introduced
legislation in the House that would stop the federal
government from spending our tax dollars -- $19 million
so far -- to fund the Carter Center.
Admonishing letters are not enough. It's time to send a message that will be understood. Too many of our elected officials and public figures have compromised our foreign policy by holding unsanctioned meetings with our enemies abroad. Patriotic Americans demand action. Support Representative Myrick in urging Secretary of State Rice to pull Carter's passport and demand an immediate vote on Representative Knollenberg's legislation to withdraw every last dime of our tax dollars from the Georgia-based Carter Center.
Sincerely,
Your Signature Will Be Recreated Here

Jimmy Carter met with Mahmoud Zahar, a top Hamas gang leader... he hugged and kissed Nasser Shaer, an unscrupulous apostle of slaughter... then he laid a wreath on Yasser Arafat's grave, calling the late terrorist "a peace fighter" and "a dear friend."
But that wasn't enough. Carter's most outrageous act was his meeting with Hamas's exiled leader, Khaled Meshal, whom our government has officially designated "a terrorist," responsible for the deaths of at least 26 Americans.
And yet, only a few lone voices on Capitol Hill seem willing to do something about Carter's treacherous antics.
Representative Sue Myrick has asked Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to pull Carter's passport.
Here's what she said:
"Former President Carter has acted in contradiction of international agreements to isolate Hamas. He has acted in defiance of both United States policy and international policy."
In 1981 Congress granted this power to the Secretary of State and the Supreme Court affirmed the constitutionality of the statute.
And then there's Representative Joe Knollenberg, who has introduced legislation in the House that would stop the federal government from spending our tax dollars -- $19 million so far -- to fund the Carter Center.
"America must speak with one voice against our terrorist enemies. It sends a fundamentally troubling message when an American dignitary is engaged in dialogue with terrorists. My legislation will make sure that taxpayer dollars are not being used to support discussions or negotiations with terrorist groups."
There are still a few Members of Congress who are not afraid to be conservatives and patriots.
We have an obligation NOT to let them stand alone.

Carter Thumbed His Nose At Congress
When Carter announced his little trip, some members of his own party joined with Republicans in signing a letter begging him NOT to meet with Hamas -- an anti-Semitic, hate-America gang of terrorists.
Representative Bill Shuster introduced a "sense of Congress" resolution which reads in part that Congress "disapproves of former President Jimmy Carter's freelance diplomatic efforts in the Middle East, which contradict the stated foreign policy position of the current Administration."
Two other Democrats, Representatives Howard Berman, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Gary Ackerman, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Mideast subcommittee, wrote Carter imploring him NOT to meet with Hamas.
"This visit will undermine the Middle East peace process... the legitimacy and prestige that Hamas will derive from your visit will be seen in the region as a clear demonstration that violence pays.
More than 50 House Members -- in all -- wrote Carter urging him NOT to meet with Meshal, calling him the man behind the deaths of 26 Americans.
Yet there was Carter: striking poses for TV cameras, mouthing far-left platitudes, playing the role of the benevolent peacemaker, flashing his nauseating grin.

Any Friend of Hamas Is No Friend Of Mine
Former President Carter's behavior is nothing new.
Using the prestige of his presidency and millions and millions of YOUR tax dollars, Carter has traveled the world, and REPEATEDLY met with America's most dangerous enemies against our nation's interest.
Hamas is no social club! It's a terrorist organization whose hands drip with the blood of innocent Israelis and Americans.
Hamas launches suicide bombers and murders innocent women and children with wild-eyed glee -- particularly if their targets are Jewish or Christian.
After Hamas won the 2006 Palestinian parliamentary elections and took control of the Palestinian "nation,"
the United States -- along with the United Nations, the European Union, and Russia -- called on Hamas to recognize Israel and honor previous agreements to coexist peacefully.
The leaders of Hamas were defiant. They made it clear that they intended to keep on killing Jews, Americans, and everyone else that got in the way of their fanatic agenda.
Jimmy Carter is critical of President Bush -- a man who has made the defeat of terrorism his legacy -- but Carter never misses an opportunity to meet and greet international terrorists.
Join us in sending a message to Carter... Stop him from feeding from the government trough. TODAY!

More Carter Treachery...
That's not all.
In January of 1984, a bitter Jimmy Carter met secretly with Anatoly Dobrynin, the Soviet ambassador to the United States.
Dobrynin wrote in his memoirs that Carter told the Soviet diplomat he was worried about President Ronald Reagan's military build-up and thought the world would be better off with someone else in the White House .
Of course, Reagan understood the world better than Carter.
Our build-up forced the Soviet Union to escalate its own military preparations; but the communist system couldn't compete with our free-market system, and the Evil Empire fell to pieces before the world's delighted eyes.
I guess one could view it as Ronald Reagan's victory over communism and... over Carterism.
And, in 2005, while in Birmingham, England, Jimmy Carter, the left-wing moralist, was at it again, echoing al-Qaeda and other anti-American voices when he said:
"I think what's going on at Guantanamo Bay and other places, is a disgrace to the USA... it has given impetus and excuses to potential terrorists to lash out at our country and justify their despicable acts."
Those are the words of a former President of the United States!
Another case in point: The Carter Center agreed to monitor the Venezuelan election -- an up-or-down vote on communist dictator Hugo Chavez.
Carter's report may have well have been written by the three monkeys -- see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil -- an election with a few minor glitches, but a glorious triumph for Marxist democracy.
More perceptive observers described stalled lines, technology that failed and Chavez's soldiers hassling and bullying voters.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the Carter Center and the OAS audited only a fraction of the voting machines they agreed to audit.
Venezuelan News and Analysis added this grim footnote:
"Then Jimmy Carter said he planned to leave Venezuela to celebrate his wife's birthday the day before opposition protestors were shot at point blank [range] as they protested [the fraudulence of] the referendum results."
Maybe Carter loves Chavez because Chavez hates George W. Bush.
See the pattern?
Congress should make sure this is no longer permitted... It should not be allowed... Our tax dollars should not support it!
