The legislative fix to ram ObamaCare down the throats of the American people is in.

CFIF Eagle      Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have huddled behind closed doors once again and are planning a series of ”legislative tricks” to pass ObamaCare.

     And their new strategy, designed to bypass a Republican filibuster of their government-run health care scheme and brazenly defy the American people, is as deceptive as they come.

     Here’s how LifeNews.com reported it: "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s top health care aide Wendell Primus admitted top Democrats have already decided on the strategy to pass the Senate’s government-run health care bill… Primus explained that the Senate will use the controversial reconciliation strategy that will have the House approve the Senate bill and both the House and Senate okaying changes to the bill that the Senate will sign off on by preventing Republicans from filibustering."

     In other words, Democrats in Congress have already hatched an underhanded plot to bring ObamaCare back from the dead and make socialized health care the law of the land. And if we don’t act right now, if the American people fall asleep at the wheel, Obama, Pelosi and Reid just may succeed in pulling off their dubious plan.

     We must intensify our demands. Republicans must immediately cease and desist all further negotiations and discussions (direct or indirect) on ObamaCare. And yes, Democrats must hear the message too. They must be made to understand that when the American people overwhelming said "No" to ObamaCare, we meant it.

Are The American People Being Played For Suckers?
     This new plot to pass ObamaCare in opposition to the will of the people is fairly complicated. Indeed, the confidence of Congressional Democrats to pull it off stems from their belief that they can pull the wool over your eyes… that you and the overwhelming majority of Americans opposed to government-run health care won’t know enough to oppose them until it’s too late.

     Speaking at a National Health Policy Conference this month, Pelosi health care aide Wendell Primus told the audience: "The trick in all of this is that the president would have to sign the Senate bill first, then the reconciliation bill second, and the reconciliation bill would trump the Senate bill. There’s a certain skill, there’s a trick, but I think we’ll get it done.” [Emphasis mine]

     Are we being played for suckers?

     Is the legislative fix to pass government-run health care in? Is Barack Obama’s so-called health care summit, scheduled for February 25th, the sham we already knew it was… nothing more than smoke and mirrors designed to distract the American people from what is really going on?

     The answer to all of those questions is undeniably "Yes.”   As The Washington Examiner’s Mark Tapscott wrote last week:

"The comments from Primus raise an obvious question: Since it is inconceivable that Democratic congressional leaders are moving in this direction without the knowledge of the White House, why call a health care summit and challenge congressional Republicans to come with their best ideas when the plan is already in place to use legislative trickery to pass Obamacare?"

“The most logical answer would seem to be that the summit is part and parcel of a White House/congressional Democratic strategy to distract attention from what is about to happen on the Hill. It's the classic magician's trick of distracting you with the left hand while the right hand does the ‘trick.’"

     The American people are fed up with the back-room deals, legislative tricks and underhanded tactics to pass ObamaCare.

     We have come too far and have fought too hard to let Obama, Pelosi and Reid get away with this latest scheme to ram government-run health care down our throats.

     We can stop them, but we must act now.

Obama's Bogus White House Health Care Summit Is An Essential Part Of The Democrats' Latest Scheme.
     Let's take another look at the second part of Tapscott's question: "... why call a health care summit and challenge congressional Republicans to come with their best ideas when the plan is already in place to use legislative trickery to pass Obamacare?"

     Tapscott's conclusion that it's a "Democratic strategy to distract attention from what is about to happen" is spot on.

     In actuality, Republican cooperation at Obama’s health care summit – regardless of their stated opposition to ObamaCare – is an essential part of the Democrats' new scheme... without it, the plan could fail.

     The summit is nothing more than a last-ditch effort by the White House and Congressional Democrats to create the appearance of bipartisanship. It’s a political trap designed to pin Republicans against a wall as Obama, Pelosi and Reid move forward with their legislative chicanery.

     Simply put, Obama, Pelosi and Reid desperately need Republican fingerprints on ObamaCare to keep it afloat. And the so-called health care summit is one of the "tricks" they’ve come up with to pull it off.

     Think about it for a moment. Imagine, if you will, what would happen if Republican leaders disengaged from this phony summit or developed the backbone to say what they should have said long ago...

     …Something to the effect of:

The White House and Congressional Democrats are proceeding with their plans for a government takeover of health care against the wishes of their constituents. The corruption, back-room deals and procedural tricks that have come to define the entire legislative process on this issue have already been rejected by the American people. Yet, the Democrats are planning more of the same in an attempt to usurp 1/6th of the U.S. economy.

Let it be known that we refuse, on principle, to be duped into fighting within the confines of this corrupted, compromised and illegitimate process. There will be no more discussion on the matter... no more debate... We hear you loud and clear, America. Instead of falling for their dubious plan, we will instead fight them every step of the way.

What would happen?

The American people would applaud them. Democrats, even some of the rank-and-file, would once and for all feel the heat and back down. ObamaCare would remain defeated.
